I'm delighted to be joined today by Elliott Gould, one of the cofounders of Work.Life, which is a co-working space organisation, founded in 2015. Elliot and his co-founder David decided that everyone should be happy in their work lives. They now have 15 co-working spaces, thousands of members, and also a strong team of brilliantly diverse and talented people. Elliott's journey of entrepreneurship has been an inspiring one for me, as I've seen him develop from my very first days of knowing him back in the corporate world, to making some very bold decisions and moves in his work. I'm pleased that he's joining me today to tell his inspiring stories to you.

What You’ll Learn:

  • What is the most stressful thing about the transition from a corporate world to being your own boss
  • The importance of having an infrastructure and a community for the startups and business owners
  • Why a key part of the transition is to decide if you want to go on your own or with somebody
  • Is the entrepreneurial mindset something you are born with, or is there something that sparks it?
  • How to deal with the moments when not everything is working out the way that you want

As we learn from Elliot, It does take experience, understanding of balance, and also the inner confidence that you can make it work. You don't need to be in your business 24/7 in order for it to thrive - you thriving inside is also going to create more of your business thriving as well.
