TW: Suicide Attempt

We can't give people a false ideal of what healing is. Healing will look different to everyone. And so we have to keep an open mind that someone may not have some big epiphany or some big aha or transformational moment on their journey right away or ever. But that doesn't mean that they're not healing.

In this episode of the @luxuriouslyfiercepodcast, I am so excited to have my friend @andy_delucia Andy DeLucia on the show!

Andy is a trauma informed mentor and author of the book How Do I Deal With My Emotions. Frustrated with the traditional therapeutic landscape and desiring another way to heal trauma, Andy created the Tie Dye Method which she uses to create and teach others to create trauma-informed safe spaces for healing and transformation. No stranger to living in survival mode, Andy is passionate about helping others break these survival cycles and feel whole mind, body, and spirit, so they can create their own healing masterpiece. Andy is also the founder of the UPROOTED trauma-informed coaching certification and host of the UpRooted podcast.

IN THIS EPISODE:

>> Andy shares her experience with trauma, depression, and her suicide attempt

>> having it all and self-sabotaging until you lose it all

>>tearing down norms in our society

>>divine intervention and unfinished business

>> healing as fun and colorful

>> Andy’s signature Tie Dye Method

>> what trauma really is in the body

>>creating safety within

… and so much more!
