There is a lot more to bodywork than most people realize. Practitioners usually start off as massage therapists, masseurs or masseuses so that they can be certified and licensed by their respective state and local regulators to practice massage on their clients. But there are many who go on to study the many more holistic, even ancient methods of healing the entire body, like Chinese massage and acupressure. Some will also incorporate other healing modalities in their work, like Tibetan singing bowls or, as in bodyworker Ryan Fisher's case, tuning forks and cups. In this episode, Ryan explains how he connects with his clients to bring them back into balance. And our mutual friend Tracy Halterman contributes her further insights for what "balance" is and how she and Ryan use their expertise to help others attain it.
