On this episode of the Healthy Conversations in Trucking Podcast, Dr. Charlotte Huntley talks to BJ Feerrar, who’s a good friend of her husband and co-host, Jonathan Huntley. BJ is a car hauler and joins us to share his journey over the road.

BJ gives us an insight into what his life looks like, telling us how he works typically works Monday to Friday and gets home on the weekends.

BJ also lets us in on what he loves most and least about the job. He loves being able to take holidays almost any time he wants by booking more jobs the week before. He hates having to be away from his family, but at least he can now be home with them on the weekends.

Finally, BJ discusses his biggest health challenges as a trucker, which mostly consist of eating healthy and exercising. He has realized that even when you think you’re eating good food, you might not be. He shares his best tips for addressing these challenges over the road.
