It's that time of year, folks. We can finally slough off our hume-skins and unleash our inner skeletons and ghosties because THE SEASON OF THE SAMHAINS IS UPON US!! To celebrate the turning of the leaves we bring with us 3 spoooooooky, scaaaaaary and sometimes hooooooorny bangers to get you in the mood. We kick things off with the first of a special bonus series we'll be doing throughout the month on Japanese, V-Cinema horror shorts with the world's goopiest elevator duel in Cyclops (1987). Then, Jake can't control his primal urges and keep it in his pants so he brings some softcore to the Halloween sleepover with Ruggero Deodato's Boob n' Buttspoitation Horror Noir, The Washing Machine (1993). Finally, we head to the mean and dirty ghettos of early 2000s Vancouver with the ghost of S-N-DOUBLE-O-P and a bunch of very Canadian teens in the Ernest P. Dickerson, Blaxploitation themed maggot fest, Bones (2001).
