The Soho House is not usually internationally known as a crime scene but it is world renowned for its elite membership and in New York, London, and LA for being the place to be seen if you are part of the in-scene. The beautiful, young, talented Peruvian swimsuit designer, Sylvie Cachay was definitely on their VIP list when she and her spoiled, stoner, playboy boyfriend Nicholas Brooks unexpectedly showed up on December 9, 2010.

Their evening had gone up in flames after a huge fight after Nicholas had "accidentally" set fire to Sylvie's apartment. Sylvie was heavily medicated on her own prescription pills and was staggering into Soho House as she checked in that night. Sadly, nobody knew that she would not check out. But this traumatic story really begins with the sins of the father. His father was the one time Hollywood Goldenboy and Oscar winner Joseph Brooks, whose selfish and misogynistic behavior had tortured and torn apart his family for years. He separated his ex-wife from their children and later separating his daughter, socialite/model/actress Amanda Brooks, from her brother Nicholas. The cowardly Joseph Brooks was a terribly flawed man that ended up ending his own miserable selfish life in the midst of his own perverted sex scandal with over 127 sexual and battery assault charges being held against him as his own son's brutal murder trial was about to begin.

Countless members of Sylvie's family and Friends bravely attended the trial & fought for justice for their beautiful talented friend that they would never see again. Amanda vigorously fought for her brother Nicholas by victim shaming Sylvie. However the stories of father Joseph Brook's aggressive, disgusting and disrespectful behavior towards women while buying prostitutes for his son and bribing him for his loyalty made it apparent that those years of wild white privileged college boy behavior that his father financed left Nicholas emotionally, mentally, and sexually scarred and guilty as charged of being a murderous pompous lazy sex addicted byproduct of the sins of his father.
