“Each one of these cases is one little living soul, so the stakes are high.” Andrea’s goal is for us see these children as “Mississippi’s children” and these families as “Mississippi’s families.” These are the most vulnerable families of our state. She is working to take care of and provide a brighter future for almost 3,600 kids. Her “first responders” are the social workers who field over 30,000 phone calls to their hotline every year.
