I’m joined by a hugely influential and inspirational guest on this week’s podcast. Whilst empowering women towards accessible healthcare throughout under-served areas of the world…particularly the Middle East, Africa and South Asia…
Sophie Smith is shaping women's healthcare - in particular, the exploding world of FemTech. Her work is exceeding the realities beyond what the women of many nations ever thought was possible in their lifetime!
Sophie’s a wildly successful and incredibly hard-working SERIAL entrepreneur who has founded several companies, with a background in technology consulting.
Her latest and most successful venture, Nabta Health - which aims to give women access to affordable, evidence-based, and fully personalised healthcare - was founded in 2017 and has firmly put her on the map as a pioneer of the FemTech movement in global healthcare and menopause. Not only this, Sophie was announced as Top 150 FemTech Leaders Globally, driven to create the greatest possible positive impact on the lives of some of the poorest and most deprived people in the world.
She publicly advocates for women’s rights and support within the workplace - especially for women who are postpartum and those experiencing menopause matters at work. And to add to all of this, she hosts Empowered Women’s Podcast, too. Sophie’s a working mother - we’re really not sure where she’s found the time to accomplish so much, but it’s an incredible honour to have her with us today.
