This is Part 2 of a 2 part interview with Kristin Townsend, LMFT, who has both experienced chronic dizziness herself AND is a holistic therapist who helps people struggling with all sorts of symptoms. Kristin has a special interest and expertise in somatic practices, including yin yoga, and in this conversation, she explains why these can be so useful in chronic dizziness recovery, as well as how to implement them. We talk about nervous system flexibility and why THIS is the goal of recovery, not just being calm all the time, and how what we might think of as "standard" yoga practices may not be so helpful during recovery. You'll learn a lot from this interview. Enjoy!
