Samatha loves helping people and serving the community. Working at Cobb County Georgia has given her the ability to do both. Now she trains new recurits to learn to empathize and have the best chance for a positive outcome when someone is struggling with a mental illness.

In this episode, Samatha shares practicle tips that 911 uses to assess a situation and all the questions you will have to answer when your loved one is in crisis. Hopefully you will not ever need 911 to respond to a mental health crisis, but knowing ahead of time what to expect will help.
