Hello friends and welcome to episode 9 of The Stained Glass Podcast. I’m your host, Jessica Spurlock. On today’s episode, you will hear part 1 of my story dealing with my daughter’s chronic illness. This was a very emotional and soul searching series to write, record and produce. I had forgotten many of the things that had happened during this time in our life. It was a very impactful experience and I am not the same person I was before. God used it to change me for the better.

In this compelling episode, we delve into the gripping tale of my daughter's sudden illness and alarming weight loss. I share my experiences navigating medical jargon like "eosinophil" and "differential diagnosis" while learning to advocate for her well being. I reveal how God sustained me through the testing and complexities of hospital life. Despite negative results, my daughter's deteriorating condition raises the possibility of a complex cancer diagnosis, leaving us in suspense. Join me on this emotional journey of perseverance and resilience in the face of medical challenges.

In the next episode, you will hear part two of this trilogy story series and how we moved from rock bottom with her illness to diagnosis to treatment and how some of the top doctors in the nation got involved. It drops in two weeks. Until then, this has been Jessica Spurlock with The Stained Glass Podcast. Go be a blessing!
