Marijuana, Mary Jane, Pot, Cannabis, weed.
By what ever name it goes by, it always brings about a joke or two about munchies and zoning out.
The once demonized drug was often the center of discussion and controversy as a gateway drug to harsher drugs, and the potential downfall of western civilization as we know it!
But it wasn’t until 1978 when a laid back hippie and a cool Chicano from L.A. gave us a different perspective on the image of marijuana.
On this weeks episode we talk about three films that either have the drug as it’s centerpiece, or displayed as part of a sub counter culture.
