"Gay" and "Republican" might seem like identities that don't really go together, but to the Log Cabin Republicans, that is exactly who they are.

The origins of the Log Cabin Republicans, though, are about as far from what you are probably imagining as you can get.

Reverend Raymond Broshears worked tirelessly for the rights of LGBTQ+ people, the elderly, and sex workers in San Francisco. He was also the progenitor of the Log Cabin Republicans. Buckle up because this one is a wild ride.
