We all need reminders of how important it is to have trust in yourself so you can stay focused on your North Star.

So, let’s revisit an episode that speaks volumes on this topic with some new insights into my own self-trust experience that will encourage you to begin your new year with renewed trust in yourself.

If you lack trust in yourself, you’re on a career path that’s less about research and more about decision-doubting and people-pleasing.

Not knowing how to trust yourself in the world of academia, where women are already playing from way behind, is going to hold you back even more from achieving your career goals unless you experience a mindset shift.

A shift that will help you overcome your doubts, trust your decision-making, and ignore the so-called career advice from people who are more interested in their own agendas than they are in seeing you become the leader you are destined to be.

Listen to this episode to learn why true self-trust begins with knowing and living what you want out of your career.

Tune in to this episode of the podcast to learn about:

  • Why being a PI is like running a small business
  • Why women in academia struggle with self-trust
  • The reality of second-guessing yourself

Listen in to eliminate your survivor mindset and create a research career you love.
