"My name is Kat Disney, and I'm a Union Pipefitter Foreman in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I've been in construction for 21 years, 18 as a Pipefitter, and 7 as a foreman. The types of things I've worked on include hospitals, schools, churches, office buildings, manufacturing and food processing plants, refineries, and government buildings. I hold a BS in Environmental Policy and Management that I earned after completing my 5-year apprenticeship. I also volunteer for my local NAWIC and CLUW organizations as well as hosting a circle through NABTU's Lean In for Tradeswomen. I'm a single mom, and I have 2 tiny dogs to terrorize.
My goal is to continually push forward and advance professionally. I enjoy the field aspect of my career very much, and intend to use those experiences and knowledge to start my own Mechanical business in the future."
