Feeling unsafe or being in survival mode makes it very hard to function or find peace. Host Veronica Daniel interviews one of her former teachers, Dawne McClure, and discovers how a shared experience impacted their lives as students. Even when life gets better, it is rarely perfect – but openness and kindness go a long way to keeping us all moving forward.
