In this episode, our guest is Rachel Busse, M.D., a board-certified family medicine and integrative medicine physician. Dr. Bussee will address important questions around natural approaches to preventing stroke and when medication is needed, including:

  1. Why does someone need to have a primary care provider and a neurologist if they have had a stroke?
  2. “Why do I have to take all this medicine? Is there a ‘natural’ solution?”
  3. Common stroke medications and herbal supplements that interact with medications.
  4. How to prevent stroke through eating nutritiously, such as the Mediterranean diet.
