Black Americans are more likely to be diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and their families are more likely to struggle accessing care due to bias in the medical system. Joy Balls-Berry, associate professor at Washington University Medical School, studies those inequities and joins #ListenStLouis host Carol Daniel to discuss the role bias plays in healthcare and why researchers need more diversity in their clinical trials.
