Bio: Camilla Dorand is an author, publisher and self-love advocate! Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Camilla started her journey in the legal field, armed with a Master's degree in Legal Studies and a role as a college professor. However, she soon followed her true calling in helping people love themselves through image consulting and lifestyle coaching, making her mark as Milla Mathias in the Brazilian media. Her adventure took a thrilling turn in 2013, leading her to the United States where she pursued a Master's degree in mental health, followed by a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. Now at the forefront of Red Rock City Lifestyle Magazine in Las Vegas, Camilla blends her experiences into a narrative of resilience, creativity, and support for the local community. Unlike most girls, she dared to challenge the notion of her mother as a role model, navigating a tumultuous relationship filled with toxicity and rejection. Fueled by societal pressures and self-loathing, Camilla waged war against her own body until a pivotal moment shattered the illusion that her worth was tied to her appearance. But it wasn't just the relationship with her mother that needed healing. Toxic patterns in romantic relationships mirrored the inner turmoil she grappled with, leading her on a soul-stirring journey in search of her true self. Through tears, heartbreak, and moments of sheer joy, Camilla discovered that true happiness resides within—the culmination of a journey fueled by persistence, focus, and unwavering belief in the power of self-love.
