In the very first episode of the Greatness Together Podcast, Sarah and Simonne embark on their journey of creating Mother-Daughter Conversations that Delve into the Heart of Psychology! Let’s talk about which side of the procrastination/precrastination fence you live on.

Quote: “There’s precrastination and procrastination, but also there’s a healthy continuum. And just past the healthy sides of that continuum is where anxiety hangs out.” Sarah McVanel

One Monday night, while minding her own business watching a TED Talk by Adam Grant, Sarah had a lightbulb moment (although full disclosure, scientists have discredited the lightbulb theory, so consider this more like an enthusiastic moment “that makes sense!”) It turns out that procrastinators are pretty darn creative. This was VERY inconvenient as Sarah is a hardcore precrastinator (yep, she learned that term too…it was a big night).

Sarah brought this to the dinner table, and we realized that we’re a family of pretty intense “don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today” folks. And it’s kinda tiring sometimes! In this episode, we explore what precrastination is, what procrastination is, when they work, what the extreme forms are and how they cause anxiety.

Prioritization is the superpower that transcends the pre-to-procrastination spectrum. Learn more about how to find bliss and calm through the power of prioritization.
