Join Professor Dave Angelini, Colby College Biology Professor and Chair of the Colby College Biology Department, and Pam Salokangas, Colby College Assoc. Director of Engagement for their discussion about Biology and Allen Island, part of Colby's Island Campus, bees, butterflies, citizen scientist projects, "Bugs In The Backyard" and the red shouldered soapbug, and more!

Professor Dave and I met returning from Allen Island in June 2023 and he gladly accepted my invitation to join the first "Engage With Colby!" Podcast! Dave is always a pleasure to speak with and his passion for his research and his general interest in biology comes through in all of his tales. His students are lucky to have such an enthusiastic and engaging professor as they explore biology courses and all of the related study areas available to them.

Enjoy this podcast session where we explore how he got started in biology studies, various research experiences, student research projects, Allen Island/Colby College Island Campus, and more!
