On today's show, we are first joined by Captain Greg Sparacio to put a spotlight on an event in downtown this Friday. Faith in Blue will have an event for the community in Friendship plaza from 10AM until 1PM this coming Friday, October 11. We are then joined by Cartersville Fire Marshall Mark Hathaway and fellow firefighter Joseph Hill to chat about bringing their new Tower Truck to Tellus this weekend for Heavy Metal in Motion. We also discussed some fire safety tips and reminded everyone to get their heating systems checked before we get to the really cold weather of the season. We wrap up the show with Jim Dunham and our weekly segement, "Stories that Won the West." It's a chance for us to look at this week in Western History.
