DN Charles reads four successive entries from his 2004 Child Of The Moon diaries - each one dealing with, or adding to, the confusion he feels now that Ariadne is more than just an Escort. When he can't resist booking her again for sex he discovers that his hormones won't play along. Totally confused by this latest development in his emotional maelstrom, he turns on Ariadne.
