Kevin Wayne Johnson's journey began in Richmond, Virginia, where he grew up as the son of a US Marine and a federal government employee. His career path took him from the Richmond public schools to Virginia Commonwealth University, where he majored in business administration with a focus on finance and economics. After graduating, Kevin embarked on a 34-year career in the federal government, working for the Department of Defense and the Department of Treasury. His extensive experience in various leadership roles provided a unique perspective on how organizations and teams function under different leadership styles.
