You don’t need a large audience to start a podcast. This is what we lead ourselves to believe when wanting to start a podcast annnnnnnd theeeeeen become overwhelmed with a hint of impostor syndrome and then we don’t bother getting our message out there in a podcast.

Well in today’s episode, I’ll share 8 points to get you started and thinking, ‘Yes!!! I can still have a podcast with a small audience OR even with zero listeners. These points have not only helped me change my thoughts about podcasting and mindset to get the thing done but have given me the motivation to keep going!

Here are 8 points to help you when starting your podcast with a small audience:

1. Practice being authentic!

2. You have the chance to experiment with your style, format, and delivery of your episodes!

3. Build your community!

4. Gather valuable and genuine feedback from your listeners!

5. Get specific and share the same niche topics with your audience!

6. There’s more opportunity to connect with other people with a smaller audience!

7. Keep to a budget and costs low!

8. Low pressure to deliver a perfect episode!
