Having a flowing introduction is very helpful to help get your podcast episode started. There are a few ways to start your episode and when you have the right flow, it gets easier as you reuse and recycle the template for each episode. In this episode, Rosie shares the main things you need for a succinct podcast episode introduction to help you get your podcast started smoothly each time with this way. Here is one of many examples:

  • Have a voice over, with someone else introducing you and the show.
  • You could introduce yourself and the show.
  • If you have a freebie to share, eg a pdf, checklist or guide, share where to find it.
  • Brief story about you, an event or something that happened to you recently.
  • And a very brief hook about what you’ll be taking about in the episode.

This could all be spoken over the top of your intro music as it plays in the background.
