Immigration is often seen as simply an increasingly partisan topic of debate in politics or news, but immigration is also felt on a deeply personal level in individual lives. Beyond the halls of Congress, where talks are ongoing to push for immigration reform, our communities must live with the day-to-day struggles of immigrant families. This episode is the second of our two part series focusing on the undocumented Chinese American community, which is often overlooked and made invisible in national conversations surrounding immigration. In this episode, Ru, a member of the New York based AAPI undocumented youth group RAISE, shares her personal migration story and lived experiences as an undocumented youth growing up in the US. This episode is in Mandarin.
