Hey Fam, Master Coach G here on Thriving After 50 "Mind Body Soul" And today I am going to continue to talk about our emotions Characteristics of emotional challenges Emotional challenges can vary greatly, but here are some common characteristics: 1. Intensity: Emotional challenges often involve intense feelings that can be difficult to manage. These feelings may include sadness, anger, fear, or frustration. 2. Duration: Emotional challenges can last for varying lengths of time. Some challenges may be short-lived, while others may persist for a longer period. 3. Triggers: Emotional challenges can be triggered by specific events, situations, or memories. These triggers can vary from person to person and may be related to past experiences or current stressors. 4. Physical sensations: Emotional challenges can manifest as physical sensations in the body. These may include a racing heart, tightness in the chest, headaches, or stomachaches. 5. Impact on daily life: Emotional challenges can have a significant impact on a person's daily life. They may affect relationships, work or school performance, and overall well-being. 6. Coping mechanisms: Individuals facing emotional challenges may develop various coping mechanisms to deal with their emotions. These can include seeking support from others, engaging in self-care activities, or practicing relaxation techniques. My coping mechanisms was walking I was diagnosed with diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, high A1c & acid reflux so bad I couldn’t lay down to sleep & I weighed 237lbs It's important to remember that everyone experiences and copes with emotional challenges differently.
