His experience consulting for vertical software companies revealed a gap in the market—these companies needed a way to monetize payments without the hefty fees from platforms like Stripe or Braintree.
Tilled was born out of this need, offering comparable technology but with a twist: enabling software companies to generate revenue from the payments flowing through their systems. It's a SaaS platform that empowers businesses to leverage payments for recurring revenue, a model that has been successful for giants like Toast, Shopify, and Mindbody, but was previously out of reach for smaller players.
