This pod was full of laughs as Steph shares the head spinning last 12 months and some personal stories from her college years to her fave food that she’s just a little obsessed by.
It’s a truly magical full circle moment with Steph joining us on Shooting The Breeze after such a whirlwhind few months having featured in an award winning piece by our co-host Jacinta last September as part of the emerging writers collobration with ABC sports and Siren Sports… and what a few months it been!
In the last twelve months she’s become a 2-time champ, with NBL1 Norths’ Townsville Flames and more recently with the Fire in the WNBL… and she’s part of the extended Opals squad with Asia Cup later this month!
Steph’s game has gone next level, and she shares how phenomenal coaches such as Shannon Seebohm and Sandy Brondello have helped shape that. As well as some interesting glimpses into the culture at Townsville Fire which prepared them for that Championship run.
But what we really love is Steph’s passion off court whether it’s paying it forward in her community work “I feel like I can pull people along with me” or hitting the radio airwaves in a new found talent, we get some very cool behind the scenes intel on her latest gig at Hit103.1 Townsville!
