WELCOME to the Skyway Podcast an Interview style, family friendly podcast covering topics on the Paradise, Magalia, Concow Ridge and Chico area. Connecting the Ridge to the Valley with commute length podcasts between 35 - 40 mins(half on the drive up, half on the drive down) covering topics that will help you and your family get the most out of life in our area, enjoy the drive and stay safe out there.

Don Criswell, longtime Ridge resident and local historian talks about growing up on the Ridge, the phases of development that he lived there for, his experience with the Camp Fire as well as several other fires in Butte County, and so much more. Don and I spoke at length about the importance of understanding the phases of development the Ridge has experienced in order to learn from the past and continue to stay connected surrounding communities in the future.

In Part 2, Don brings it home with some words of wisdom before he jets out the door to go "do good" somewhere that no one will ever know about, except those receiving his thoughtful support. A model for community engagement and the type of character I have come to appreciate for his genuine authenticity, Don was a wonderful guest!
