In this episode I discuss The Exorcist (William Friedkin, 1973) The Exorcist was released on December 26th 1973, Merry Christmas. Based on the novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty which was released in 1971. The movie was directed by William Friedkin, it stars Ellen Burstyn as actress Chris MacNeil, mother to 12 year old Regan played by Linda Blair who becomes possessed by an entity.
