Dr. Jill manning is quickly becoming a regular on Sam's Healing Podcast, encouraging both the unfaithful and the betrayed to find a new level of emotional maturity. While betrayal trauma can feel insurmountable, it's clearly not due to the insight and direction and hope that we can heal from the wisdom of Dr. Manning. While last time we discussed five signs of emotional immaturity, this week we discuss five pillars of maturity, while continuing to focus on relational trauma, family of origin issues and how we as adults can find new breakthroughs in self-compassion. For over two decades, Dr. Jill Manning has been a recognized thought leader, clinician, speaker, and researcher in the field of sexual betrayal, compulsive sexual behavior, and issues related to the impact of Internet pornography on marriages and families. Dr. Manning is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) who specializes in working with individuals impacted by sexual betrayal in their primary relationship. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Manning serves on the S.A. Lifeline Foundation Advisory Board. In the past, she has served on the Board of Directors for Enough is Enough (2015 to 2022), the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (2016 to 2018), and the Utah Coalition Against Pornography (2005 to 2014).
