Poet/Lyricist: Teresa of Avila (1515-1582)
The prayer, “Nada te Turbe” was found in the breviary of the 16th cent. Christian mystic and saint, Teresa de Ávila, written in her own hand. Her words have consoled countless numbers of people and helps in times of personal and worldly struggle. I hope this text and music gives you comfort, especially during this time.

Patience obtains all things.
Whoever has God lacks nothing.

Performed by West Potomac High School choir, directed by Ernest Johnson
