Max Mendoza, executive director of Heartland 180. His story is very unique because he has decided to help youth that may have some serious challenges with life. He often says that "because you made a mistake, does not make you a mistake." He learned first hand, that his mistakes did not determine who he would become. What an amazing story. He now serves as an appointee of Governor Kelly on the Juvenile Justice Committee
