A continuation of the fourth session in the retreat series this talk is composed of aphorisms read by different participants. Shaykh Fadhlalla continues his commentary using links and bridge in the aphorisms material to pointers and indications, relate to different dynamics in consciousness, contextualizing them both in terms of modern life, as well as prophetic teachings, conduct, and the Qur’an. This is a Rich offering bringing the retreat to its culmination drawing out insights that relate natural human experiences, everyday life as it perfectly located in the frames of cosmic reality. The focus on the phase of completion is given pivotal attention in this talk, Shyakh Fadhlalla shares intimately the various dynamics and dimensions of travel that are not so easily delineated – rather these are maps that exist in the heart. Shaykh Fadhlalla ends this talk with select poetry further illustrating and bringing attention to the unified constant beneath all changing dualities with clarity and insight. It is an Ode to the Eternal Presence – Allah.
