Love for the Prophet ? Delivered by Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq on Friday 8th December 2017 at Al Kawthar Academy, Leicester (UK) Video: https://youtu.be/nOFJ2--KZ3g It is part of complete faith for a believer to have love for the Prophet ? to the extent that he should love him more than himself, his family and the rest of mankind. This love should not just be in a person’s speech, but should also be reflected in their actions and obedience to the Prophet ?. People tend to make sacrifices when in love, often sacrificing the connection they had with others. The highest form of love is detailed in this talk as explained by Allah and his Rasool ?. Love for an individual usually means that a person loves everything associated to the beloved. For this reason a person should be careful where they place their love so that it leads them towards Allah and not away from him. This talk finalises by showing how the sahabah went above and beyond their love for the Prophet ?; not just loving him as a friend or a husband, but as a Nabi of Allah. Below are some of the topics contained within this talk: - The sacrifices a person makes for love - Why should we love the Prophet ?? - Love for the Prophet ? being part of faith - Tasting the sweetness of Iman - The wives of the Prophet ? loving him as a Nabi - Proof of love for the Prophet ? is in obedience - Abu Dharr's desire to be with the Prophet ? - A dua seeking the love of Allah and his Messenger ? ********************************************************************** Website: www.akacademy.org/ YouTube: www.youtube.com/alkawtharacademy Facebook: www.facebook.com/alkawtharacademy Twitter: www.twitter.com/alkawthar Instagram - www.instagram.com/alkawtharacademy **********************************************************************
