In this episode I chat with entrepreneur Kate Morris, the founder of Adorebeauty.com.au, Australia’s longest-running online beauty store.
In this chat we discuss:
👉 How Kate disrupted the beauty industry with Australia’s first ecommerce store
👉 The struggles of growing and scaling a business;
👉 Overcoming rejection – she had quite a bit of that in the early days
👉 Putting the customer at the heart of everything she does.
On a personal note, Kate is extremely down to earth and humble about her success. She’s won countless awards, including Telstra Young Businesswoman of the Year, the Industry Recognition Award for online retail AND she been inducted into the Australian Businesswomen’s Network Hall of Fame.
She’s also a gender equality activist and is passionate about empowering women and driving change. She lives and breathes her values and is happy to ‘fight for what’s important. You do it for your daughters, sisters, colleagues’.
