All the Miracles | Episode 7

In this episode, we look at the fallout of the kidnapping, highspeed chase, the devastating loss of K9 Rik, and the injury sustained by Sergeant Todd Raymond. We also explore the many small details that came together to make a miracle.

Join our host, Emily, as she takes you through the details of what happened after the chase from the perspective of family, friends, and deputies.

Interviews in the order they are heard:

Megan recounts when she found out that Hescock had killed himself and that it was all over.

Sergeant Todd Raymond sustained a bullet wound in the shootout with Hescock. He recounts being taken to the hospital and details his injuries.

Sergeant Brian Lovell, a deputy at the time, explains what happened after leaving the scene on the night of the shooting and the next day's events.

Nicole is Megan’s younger sister. She was seven at the time and recounts how she found out that Megan had been kidnapped.

Keira gives her perspective on how Megan did after she escaped. She went to Megan’s house and visited with her the night she returned home.

Amber spent the night at Megan's home the night she escaped. She recounts how happy Megan was to be home, but how worried she was that the full impact of what happened just hadn’t hit Megan yet.

Faydra Brown is the niece of Kieth Hescock and lived with him at the time of the kidnapping. She explains where her family was vacationing at the time and how he called to say goodbye before the shootout.

Detective Sergeant Kevin Cox (retired) goes over what the sheriff’s office did to try and account for all of the places Hescock had been and any other potential crimes he may have committed.

Misty picked Megan up after she escaped. She talks about the miracles that happened that day and the guidance she received to be in the right place at the right time.

Brian Stositch recognizes God’s hand in Megan’s escape.

Chris Reed talks about how miraculous this event was and how God must have something in store for Megan.
