Jessica Lynn Wiebe is a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran. She was an Artillery soldier and deployed to Afghanistan on TF 1-08. Following her military service, she went to art school and used her experiences to create a fascinating body of multidisciplinary work that centres around war and conflict. As part of the Canadian Forces Artist Program, Jessica travelled to Ukraine to document the experiences of soldiers and gather material for a future exhibition. She currently lives in Halifax and trains Jiu Jitsu at the Halifax Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Society..
