Today on the podcast, we sit down with Jiu Jitsu instructor Gilmar Ferreira. Founder and owner of 4 Jitz Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy USA, is 3rd Degree Black Belt certified by IBJJF. Originally from Rio de Janeiro Brazil, Gilmar has dedicated a great part of his life to practicing and advancing the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). He has been training since 1998 and teaching since 2009. In 2011 Gilmar moved to America to share his knowledge and help others accomplish their goals. Professor Ferreira believes that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has the best training methods to help each individual reach their full potential, professionally and personally. Gilmar talks with us about life before the U.S., migrating here, teaching at other studios, and eventually moving to the Santa Rosa Beach area to start his own practice. Don't miss out on this one!
