“It was an uphill battle in cannabis, because cannabis has been so underground, not within the law, a lot of things were taken because they weren't going to get dinged for it.”
“If you walk into a room normally with people who are not Asian, there's a little bit of lead up there, but when you walk into a room full of other Asians, it's like, Gosh, darn it, where do you get your lumpia? Where do you know, or where did you grow up? What your parents like, oh my gosh, did you your parents, the same thing is, so it is almost like finding friends that you don't have to tell them your whole history.”
