黃仁勳6/2在台大體育館的演講最後，秀出一張約有100家的台灣合作夥伴名單，在網路上被瘋傳，而創立兩年半的GMI Cloud也在其上。
它的前身是資料中心業者，兼營提供場地和電力給其他資料中心同行，讓他們放置伺服器和相關設備；七個月前，它大幅轉型為AI平台提供模型和應用工具，幫助中型企業導入AI訓練資料，建置適合客戶業務型態的AI應用。
這種稱為AI代工的服務，完全改變GMI Cloud的商業模式和能力需求，從早先採購GPU改為租用GPU算力，來服務它的AI代工客戶。
