Hello, guys welcome back to my podcast channel SID-CAST and there is the link also https://open.spotify.com/show/5x2X5sIIMdxz22oq8IONTu and don't forget to follow and let's go. So the immortal jellyfish has biologically proved it is immortal but it can be killed if we take it out of the water and cut it into pieces and if there is any predator near it. It is very interesting right it is immortal but can be killed. It was discovered in 1883 in the Mediterranean sea but its unique ability was not discovered in 1883 its ability was founded in the 1990s. someone will say why is the jellyfish immortal? It is immortal because it can change age means it can change its biotic life that's amazing. Another mind-blowing thing about this jellyfish and other species of jellyfish is that if we cut a jellyfish half into pieces it can regenerate and there will be two jellyfishes. All species of jellyfishes do not have heart, brain, and lungs so how can they live? The jellyfish have very thin skin so they can absorb oxygen and they don't have any blood so they don't need a heart. Its scientific name is Turritopsis dohrnii. This species of immortal jellyfish can be worldwide from temperate to tropic water. The immortal jellyfish eats plankton, tiny molluscs, larvae, and fish eggs. Now how does the jellyfish can turn into a baby if it's old? This is because the jellyfish turns itself into a bloblike cyst, which then develops into a polyp colony, essentially the first stage in jellyfish life. The jellyfish's cells are often completely transformed in the process. Muscle cells can become nerve cells or even sperm or eggs. If you enjoyed this podcast don't forget to follow and bye bye.
