Welcome back to episode 11 of The Out of Our Mind in the Sierra.
Welocmoe back after the Blizzard of 24 in the Sierra Nevada. A great gift of 6-10 feet of snow covered the Sierra and has restored our snowpack season totals to near 94%.
In today's episode, we start our Spring Adventure Series. Kicking off the episode we review and discuss the Cool event that Starts on March 6th in Placerville California and will travel to Genoa Nevada, over the week ending in Genoa on Saturday as five individuals Travel the studied route of Snowshoe Thompson.
In the second segment, we start a broad dive into great Spring hikes and adventures in the Sierra.
