We met with Graham McTavish and Michelle Hurd right before the premiere of their film, Somewhere in Montana to talk about how they got involved in this passion project, the true meaning behind the film, and why Montana and this entire process have been so important to them. Hurd spoke about her process, how important acting is to her, and the overall vibe of being in Montana with the people, the land, and its beauty. Meanwhile, McTavish spoke about how important this project was to him, the overall messaging of the film, how it relates to people all over the world, and, of course, some of the other projects he is working on, including Men in Kilts season two, his upcoming book he co-wrote with Sam Heughan (which always leads to fun stories about Sam), and balancing Outlander, The Witcher, and House of Dragon.

Synopsis:
John Alexander is a man whose roots run strong and deep. His presence on the land is as much a part of Montana as the mountains themselves against the wide, open sky. But for the first time in his life, John is realizing that not everything is as set in stone as he previously believed. Facing the potential loss of his land and his livelihood, John realizes that he's going to have to make a deal that may as well be akin to selling his soul to the devil.
