Sybil grew up on the boundaries of Shropshire cricket fields watching her dad, an all-rounder, play club and works cricket.

Sybil is a journalist and broadcaster and was the first woman to present cricket on British terrestrial TV with the BAFTA and RTS award-winning C4 Cricket and C4 Cricket Roadshow. She interviewed scores of cricketers, from Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Colin Cowdrey and Sir Vivian Richards to Sir Curtly Ambrose, Steve Waugh and Sachin Tendulkar.

Sybil was a launch presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live, where she presented programmes from Lord’s and Edgbaston. She was co-presenter on the Simon Mayo Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 1 and presented the legendary Top of the Pops. More recently, she’s presented Farming Today on BBC Radio 4.
Sybil is a trustee of the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation and during the show talks about GRACE:
Good manners and respect on and off the field
Racism has no place in Gloucestershire Cricket
All are welcome - Gloucestershire Cricket for all
Communication - we listen to what you have to say
Equity for all - across our: clubs, leagues and communities
Gloucestershire are also driving and encouraging walking cricket
And they have an active 'Get into Cricket' volunteer programme
Silver Stumps is the podcast aimed at Over 60 Cricketers. Hosted by Grant Timms and Trevor Lee it aims to be entertaining, informative and topical as Grant and Trevor combine a mix of guests with their own take on what's happening in the thriving world of over 60s cricket.
