Marcy Levy aka Marcella Detroit, singer/songwriter/muscian, launched her career on the national scene performing with Bob Seger in 1972. Touring with Leon Russell, she caught the attention of Eric Clapton and her career took off. You'll find her stellar vocal talents and songwriting skills on six of Clapton's albums from 1975-1985. While with Eric, in 1982, she signed with a major record label and since then went on to release 9 solo projects. You'll also find Marcy on several albums by the British duo Shakespears Sister. Multi award-winning program director Ray White "Zooms" with Marcy and revisits her early days with Seger, success of Lay Down Sally (which she co-wrote), her years with Clapton and fills us in on her latest album Gold. We close out this show with the legendary Graham Nash, who has just completed his latest album Now.
