Coming back at you with some game master / dungeon master 101. One of the interesting things is to think about what type of game master you are? You should do this because you might be trying to run a game that fits you but not your players and that could lead to some conflict.

I, Dwight, am more of a storyteller and mystery type of game master. That means I love to weave a great tale and wrap it in clues. It's a mystery gang that just rings true in my heart.
I have a co-worker who LOVES war games. Like 8+ hour-long board games because of the conflict. He might love a year-long dungeon crawl. That isn't for me, but it isn't wrong. It is just not my style.
There are other styles that we develop in this episode so give it a listen and learn how to pivot your favorite types to help out some of your players that might like a different style.
