Sky Blues Fancast: A Coventry City Podcast

It’s a brand new episode of the Sky Blues Fancast! And as we get ready for the start of the brand new season have you ever thought that you could sit with the commentary team in the press box and give being a commentator a go?

Lorna Bailey took two of the Sky Blues Fancast team and did just that… Ryan and Anthony headed to the CBS Arena to watch Coventry City vs Stoke City. Before the match they met Martin Winch, Clive Eakin and Steve Ogrizovic from BBC CWR’s commentary team to get some advice and have a look at Oggy’s stats book. They were given top tips, like do not swear (Ryan we are looking at you!) and how to pace the commentary against the pace of the game.

How did they get on? In this special episode you’ll find out that it really isn’t as easy as it sounds and that it’s really not easy when they lose! We also asked Clive Eakin to have a listen to some of their best bits and give them some feedback, boardroom style!
